Diva Style
I absolutely love this infinity scarf and Lucky brand earrings from Macy's. My hair is in a twist out...I put my hair in big twists the night before from a previous twist out to maintain the curls. Fabulous!

Fierce Outfit
I just had to share this fierce outfit that I put together to wear to church today. My blazer was a Christmas gift from the Gap, my dress is part of the Material Girl brand at Macy's, and my cute pumps are from Steve Madden (on sale of course). This outfit is not only ideal for church, but it is also nice for a concert, date, a girls' night out, or even work.

Happy Monday!
I must say I had an interesting weekend...going out on Friday night, working nonstop this weekend, and shopping to my merriment. Now, about my going out Friday night...I had fun with one of mis chicas, but I don't think we'll be going there again...we'll stick to the 23 and up crowd. Children these days need to learn how to dress and how to dance. I couldn't believe my eyes as to what some of those girls were wearing (a shirt as a dress is a no no...if you're underwear can be seen, you have no business being out). It's so ridiculous how those boys just wait to catch their prey on the dance floor too (girls you know you better watch out). Enough of my ranting, I need more Friday nights out with mis chicas. That's the best way to spend the evening being single and fabulous. I finally got to wear a skirt I had bought last year from Forever 21.

Birthday Dress
I wore this dress to see Corinne Bailey Rae in concert at the House of Blues on my birthday! I accessorized with a belt, dangling earrings, a few bangles, and a mint rose ring. Check it out on Forever 21's website!

I Love Target!
Almost everytime I go into target, I buy something...pajamas, earrings, a purse, a skirt, a dress, the list goes on and on. Target sparks my shopaholic tendencies. Like today, I bought a cute pajama set for $7 and two pajama shorts each $5 (one for me and one for my sister). The other day I bought a cute Mossimo skirt for $9.98 and a Converse dress for $12.48. I love going through the 30% and 50% sale racks! If you're looking for cute things at a great price, head to Target!

My Dress Addiction
Butterfly Dress from Forever 21
Posing for the camera in the dress
I really LOVE buying dresses, especially for the summertime. Macy's, Forever 21, and Delia's have been my to go places for the cutest and chic dresses for this summer of 2010. It's okay to indulge in retail therapy ever now and then.

I Love Love Dresses!
This dress sure is a fit for springy weather! I tried it on last week and loved it, but just don't see where I could wear it. It's kind of short, but it can certainly be paired with tights.

I just love this dress, but it's kind of short (would have to pair it with some tights). I saw it at Forever 21 the other day, and I just might buy it. A nice holiday party dress and stunning earrings to complement it.

No Mas Comprando
I spent just a few dollars today at Old Navy on a graphic tee for $5.00 and a nice sweater for $8.99 which came out to a total of $15.14, but I really need to stop buying clothing articles b/c I'm not working at the moment (but hopefully, I will be working in the next week or so). Even though, I have money in the bank, I need to save up moolah for more important things. I'm making a promise to myself to not spend any more money on clothes for let's see the next 2 months (even though something in Forever 21 may catch my fancy. I have enough clothes in my closet as it is and being the fashionista I am, I can spicen things up in my wardrobe...with the essentials and all that jazz. I just happened to be looking on Glamour magazine's website and they give tips on how to shop smarter....Check out the link at http://www.glamour.com/fashion/2009/09/7-ways-to-be-a-smarter-chicer-shopper#slide=1. I'll list the tips here though for ya:
1. Buy a dress you can wear a million ways
2. Spend within your means
3. Rewear and reuse your stuff with pride
4. Know what you own (down to your socks)
5. Get the trends - for less
6. Never have buyer's remorse again!
7. Before you buy, ask yourself am i really itching to wear this, will I wear it next month, next season, next year?
