I came across this song while I was actually looking for natural hair care blogs. This song is FABULOUS. I love the lyrics. From my understanding, the message of the song is for men and women to work together and not against one another. Partnership and the ability to support one another through any and everything is key in any kind of relationship...sister/brother, friends, wife/husband, etc. Here are some of the lyrics:

The Glamorous Jill Scott

Jill Scott will be starring in The No. 1 Ladies' Detective Agency Series on HBO. It premieres on March 29th. I wish I had HBO. The series is based off Alexander McCall Smith's book series: The No. 1 Ladies' Detective Agency. I haven't read the books but they have been bestsellers and my sister thoroughly enjoyed reading them. Hopefully, I get around to reading one them when I'm not reading textbooks and massive amounts of articles and the like. Check out a portion of the trailer for the show. Enjoy.

I need music to do my school work most of the times to keep me going, so I was browsing through music on MySpace and I found this group called Afro Classics. They are a hip hop/rap group and their lyrics are pleasing to the ears. I don't listen to much rap, but they are a group I can listen to.
